03 | Proposal

 "I broke my own heart loving you."

I got ready in a blue silk saree and left my hair open and did some light makeup .I videocalled Advika to calm my nervousness and to ask her If I look good.

Getting overwhelmed with happiness my mother took me in a hug with teary eyes and exclaimed " When did you grow up so much Taru ?"

Papa has been sulking and acting like a grump ever since the proposal came. He is acting like someone is coming to steal his daughter away from him. 

Mumma reprimanded Papa by saying   " You are a father of two children. Stop behaving like a child now." but it had no effect on him.

Soon the guest came to our house.I took their blessings and settled besides Papa on the sofa.Mumma gestured the servants to bring snack and drinks.

Mrs rathore caressed my face while I served them snacks and said " Such a sweet daughter you have"

Mr rathore informed us that the groom to be was stuck in a meeting and is on his way. Seriously who works on such a day.

The doorbell rang and Chachi went to open the door. Looking at the person at the door only one word came out my mouth "FUCK"

"What the hell is Ansh doing here."

He took the blessings of the elders and I got to know that He is the one. This asshole has the audacity to come to my house to ask for my hand in marriage.

"I think we should let the children talk with each other" Mrs rathore said while winking at her nephew secretly . Soon I escorted him to the garden.

"How dare you come to my house and ask for my hand in marriage?"I questioned him but in return all I got was a devilish smile from him.

He is still the handsome hunk that I fell for. Maybe He got more handsome.Looking at the smirk on his face made me realise that I was blatantly checking him out.I turned red with embarrassment and looked everywhere except him.

" Baby no need to get shy I am all yours to admire " He exclaimed with a smirk.

" Why are you here Avyansh?" I asked with fury

I have never hated my name before until She used it. Because I always have been Ansh for her.

Just a glance at her. Just a glance is all it takes to drive me crazy.

She looks fucking hot in that blue saree. I felt proud that she was checking me out knowing the Fire is equally burning on both sides.

"I am here to ask my girlfriend's father for her hand in marriage"

" Last I recalled we broke up 2 years ago" she spoke pointing her fingers at my chest,daunting me to refuse.

" Naah the breakup wasn't mutual, You made the choice on your own. I was just giving you space and now I am back to claim what's mine" I replied to her with determination.

" I am going inside right now to decline to your marriage proposal"

"Dare you to deny my proposal baby. I will blacklist Advika and no one will hire her after getting blacklisted by Rathore's. I would bring her family to streets" I spoke calmly.

"When did you become so heartless?" She asked with a sad smile on her face.

"Since you left me all alone."

"I can perform any sin without even blinking my eyes If I get to hold you in my arms at the end even If the world calls me a Sinner"
